Whether you need a high-performance street engine or an all-out race engine, FRP works directly with you to deliver an engine that exceeds expectations for power and durability.

Our goal is to design and produce engine combinations that provide the greatest overall value in the industry by pairing proven engineering with high-quality, high-value components.

Every internal clearance is optimized and confirmed (true blueprinting), and expected service life is engineered in through component selection within your budget. We use 2618 alloy forged pistons and gas-nitrided stainless steel rings for ultimate sealing and durability under high boost and high temperature.

We can also supply gapless top and second ring packages for specialized applications.

Documented Construction

A standout feature at FRP is the video recording of each component at every stage of assembly, plus a detailed build sheet for you to keep.

The build sheet documents every component, clearance, torque value or bolt stretch spec, along with cam specs and as-built valve timing.

Cylinder Head Porting & Flowing

We hand-port and finish cylinder heads for everything from mild street to all-out race applications, using a Superflow SF-600 flow bench to optimize low and mid-lift flow for street builds and mid–high lift performance for high-boost, high-rpm race engines.

Naturally aspirated packages, oversize valves, seat combinations and advanced seat finishing techniques are also available.

Short Blocks & Balancing

Short block assemblies are prepared with the same processes and care used in our complete engines, and rotating assemblies are balanced to exacting standards.
