FRP Engineering's second-generation I5 turbo manifold fits the 1992–1997 Audi S4/S6 and 1991 200 20V Turbo, and is the same design used on our 950 whp 1993 S4 Bonneville race car.
The manifold accommodates large-frame GT42-size turbos with proper hood clearance and is oriented for easy downpipe fabrication. Our own car uses a 4" downpipe that comfortably clears the strut tower.
As with the first-generation unit, we use thick-wall schedule 40 stainless tubing, a stainless head flange, and a thick-wall stainless merge collector. The updated design improves primary length equalization and arranges the runners for a rotational firing pattern in the collector, improving spool and reducing backpressure at high rpm.
A Tial wastegate flange is standard, with other gate flanges available on request. Turbo mounting defaults to a T4 flange, but T3 and T6 patterns are also available to match your turbocharger.
The FRP turbo manifold carries a lifetime guarantee to the original purchaser against cracking or burn-through.
(Damage from vehicle accidents or external impacts is not covered.)
Due to material costs and fabrication time, manifolds are built to order. Please allow approximately three weeks for delivery.
